Specially developed stone wool box for the safe and optimal establishment of trees with root balls up to 60 cm. The box is wrapped in a hessian sack and provides ideal growing conditions for the tree.

Applications:

Installation Guide:

1. Dig a hole approximately 120x120x70 cm.
2. With two people, lower the box into the hole using the four lifting straps.
3. Backfill the outside of the box with sand or soil.
4. Add planting soil up to the base of the root ball so the top of the root ball is level with the top of the box.
5. Place the tree in the centre of the box and fill in with planting soil.
6. Ensure the soil and surrounding sand/soil are well compacted.
7. Attach tree ties at an appropriate height using 2–3 stakes placed inside the stone wool box.
8. For heavy clay soils, a macadam base is recommended beneath the box for optimal drainage.
9. Finish by adding 220 to 320 litres of water.
